In the world of photography, technological advancements have paved a new pathway. As a result, the task allocation for photography and post-processing has shifted from 80:20 to 50:50, accordingly. Here, we’ll show you how to use Lightroom CC’s features as well as Adobe Photoshop for sophisticated picture editing and processing. You may give your images a professional touch by enhancing them through this digital darkroom.

This course will assist students who have studied photography as a diploma programme or as a bachelor’s degree programme in producing images in a much more professional manner. For individuals who have taken the Photography course at Visualite Academy, this course can be taken as an add-on to whatever you have selected. Depending on the specialisation, different post-production processes are used. After which you have to undergo the processes required for album designing.

On weekdays and weekends, the post processing course is available both online and offline. This allows far-flung resident students, particularly NRIs and foreign students, to effortlessly attend the course without having to travel. Regular college students, such as engineering students, arts and science students, management students, and so on, have the option of enrolling in evening sessions, which can be taken concurrently.

The Post processing course can be taken along with Album Designing course together or separately.

The sequencing of images in the album, the colours to be used in the album, the designs and backdrops to be included in the album, and, lastly, the album’s cover design are all decided by the album designer. A photographer who is also skilled in album design has a distinct edge. Album design is primarily used in photography genres where the client expects an album after the photographer has photographed the event. Wedding photography, engagement photography, event photography, baby shower photography, and other disciplines are among them.

The practice of modifying the data acquired by a camera while shooting a snap in order to improve the image is known as post processing. The higher the quality of the data acquired by a camera to make a photograph, the greater the possibilities of enhancement. There are an increasing number of cameras on the market that can capture RAW data. Raw files have a lot more data per pixel, which helps with post-processing and picture enhancement.

Although post-processing can assist to improve an image, it may not be able to transform a poor exposure to a good one. Depending on the desired end result, many levels of post processing are available.
