About
Radio Jockey, or popularly known as RJ is a person who presents / hosts a talk show, podcast, weather forecasts, or even music shows on Radio. Simply putting, an RJ is a presenter of a radio programme. Through the Radio, they try to inform, refresh and entertain us. An RJ may even discuss cultural, political, local, weather-related and sports-related matters. They have to prepare songs, creative scripts and pay attention to their narration, articulation, voice modulation and timing. They must be confident, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, passionate and amusing, to keep their listeners interested and entertained throughout the programmes. The one who is playing the role of an RJ requires a lot of hardwork and presence of mind.
Unlike Radio Jockey, a Video Jockey has to present/host mostly music videos and live performances on commercial music television channels. An RJ does not have to show their face, but a VJ on the other hand has to do everything in front of a camera.
